Travel Expenses
It has been agreed that the Committee
will consider applications by Members for support in connection with their
travelling to compete in major events provided they are received prior to the
Competition. Committee Meetings are normally held on the 3rd Monday
of each month. An e-mail to the
Secretary
or
Treasurer
will suffice.
Each application will be considered on
its own merit but a maximum of 2 payments to any one athlete of £50 per year
will be imposed.
No payment will be made without
evidence of the athlete taking part in the Competition.
Coaches will receive
the same level of assistance when supporting their athletes. The same
conditions apply with the obvious exception of taking part.
Coaching Courses
The Committee will also consider
applications for support to allow a member to attend a Coaching Course and this
will be done on the understanding that any person given such support will assist
with the coaching at the Club on an agreed basis. It will also be given on the
understanding that application will be made to other agencies that are prepared
to offer support for this purpose.

As with the application for travel
expenses, it is imperative that the application is received in
advance of the course to allow the committee to consider their
answer.
