The MacAndrew Road
Relay Race 2011
Victoria Park City Of Glasgow is once again hosting the 72nd annual MacAndrew Road Relay
Race on Saturday the 1st of October 2011 at Jordanhill.
The
start time of the race is 3pm.
Registrations will be accepted on the day at the Refectory
within Jordanhill School, Chamberlain Road, Glasgow.
Athletes should register for the event before 2.30pm.

The Start/Finish line is on Helensburgh
Drive, about 1/2 mile from the changing and registration area.
Teams of
4 men or 3 women will circuit the three and a quarter mile
course. The cost of entry will be £16 for a mens team
and £12 for a female team.
Vets are 35 years for women and 40 years
for men.

Last years winning team was Glasgow
University Hares and Hounds "A", they finished in a combined time of
in a time of 1:06:13.
VP-Glasgow won the senior women's race,
finishing in a combined time of 59:07. The finishing
positions are recorded below.
Just under 100 teams competed for the
prizes on offer in 2010. This year we expect to exceed
that number.

£700 in vouchers to be spent at Achilles
Heel on Great Western Road, Glasgow, will be awarded in prizes to the
winning teams and individuals on the day.
